Norway: Siem Offshore Secures Contract for MRSV ‘Siem Marlin’

Siem Offshore and Marine Platforms Limited have entered into a contract for the Multipurpose field & ROV Support Vessel (MRSV) ‘Siem Marlin’.

The contract is made at market terms and is for a firm period of one year with commencement in April 2013.

The ‘Siem Marlin’ is a diesel electric driven vessel with low fuel consumption for reduced emission to the environment. It is designed to meet the general off shore supply market and with its 100 T heave compensated offshore crane, it is specially designed for ROV and light Construction duties. Low noise and vibration in hull and superstructure ensure excellent sea-keeping and high comfort for the crew and personnel.
