Norway: Vestnes Ocean Signs Contract for Fiskebas Newbuilding

Vestnes Ocean has signed a contract for delivery of “Willy” furniture for the newbuilding, Fiskebas, being built at Vagland Batbyggeri shipyard in Norway. In addition Vestnes Ocean will supply “Gerflor” Karavel planks for the whole vessel.

The ship is a Rolls-Royce design NVC 317 and will have a length overall of 64.2m and a moulded breadth of 14m. It will fish for both pelagic and whitefish, and will be equipped for purse-seining.

New maritime furniture collection called “Willy”, inspired by the round shapes of the killer whale. Willy Maritime Furniture Collection is module based, this means it’s easy to assemble and to fit to the environment onboard. This ensures lower man-hours in the outfitting.
