Norway: Vestnes Ocean Wins Furniture Contract for 10 New L-class Vessels

Vestnes Ocean have signed a contract with Grieg Shipping for 10 new L-class vessels. The ships are being built in South Korea.

“This is a happy day for us” says Vestnes Ocean`s marketing and sales director Lone M. Bareksten. “We have earlier supplied furniture to the 4 vessels of the K-class that Grieg built in Korea in 2008 and 2009. This is the best statement that Grieg are satisfied with us as a supplier of marine furniture to the ship building industry.”

“Grieg shipping have used Vestnes Ocean on previous projects and are very satisfied with both the service level and after sales service. The design and colour concepts used were of great help when we came to choose colours and fabrics” said Grieg Shipping`s senior purchaser.

The delivery consists of furniture, curtains, wooden imitated floorings and lamps. The deliveries will be in 2012 and 2013.
