ONGC to deploy ‘Seamec I’

Seamec Limited has informed that the Company has been awarded a Letter of Intent dated 23rd June, 2014 by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) for deployment of its vessel SEAMEC I for undertaking Air Diving job for a period of 5 years.

The Vessel is required to be mobilized within 150 days from the date of Notification of Award.

Some modification will be undertaken on the Vessel to meet the Tender requirements.

The contract value is estimated as US $ 15,3 million.

The Seamec I is a purpose designed and built multi support vessel suitable for demanding markets, capable of working throughout the year in virtually all sea and weather conditions. The Seamec I provides services which include saturation dive support for offshore constructions and NDT / Pipeline inspection, Subsea constructions and Maintenance operations, and ROV operations.

The vessel is fitted with 30 T crane on the port side of the work deck and 15 T crane on the starboard side on the main deck.
