Peru LNG cargo bound for Mexico

Only four days after the LNG carrier Gallina was dispatched from Peru’s LNG export facility, another cargo departed towards Mexico.

The 138,104 cbm Gemmata LNG carrier left the plant at Pampa Melchorita on November 7, shipping data from the state-own Perupetro shows.

The liquefied natural gas carrier built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2004 is probably sailing towards Mexico’s Manzanillo LNG terminal.

Including the latest cargo, Peru’s LNG export facility dispatched 293 vessels since it started operations in June 2010.
