Peru ships more LNG to Mexico

Mexico is set for a new liquefied natural gas cargo loaded at the Pampa Melchorita export facility in Peru.

Shell’s G class Gemmata LNG carrier with a capacity of 138,104 cbm set off from the facility on December 14, shipping data from the state-owned Perupetro reveals.

The vessel’s final destination is likely to be the Manzanillo LNG terminal in Colima state, although Perupetro has not confirmed it in its data.

Gemmata LNG built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2004 is the 301st cargo dispatched from Peru’s only liquefaction facility since it started operations in June 2010.
