Peter Backhouse to Retire from BG

LNG player BG said that Peter Backhouse will retire from the company’s board at the conclusion of BG’s annual general meeting to be held on 15 May.

BG Group’s Chairman, Andrew Gould said: “Peter’s experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and his extensive commitment to the company, have proved invaluable.

“His role on a number of our committees, latterly as a member of the sustainability committee, have enriched the board’s collective understanding and its ability to guide the company’s strategy over the last decade.”
