Petrofac Hires AHTSV from Jasa Merin (Malaysia)

SILK Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Jasa Merin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract by Petrofac (Malaysia-PM304) Limited , for the provision of one unit of Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (“AHTSV”).

The contract is expected to start from 22 July 2013 for a primary term of three years and may be extended for a further one year period at the discretion of Petrofac.

The company said that the contract, valued at approximately RM35.916 Million for the primary term, is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and assets of the Group for the financial year ending 31 July 2014 and beyond.
