Commenting on Mr. Whitby’s retirement, Mr. Bill Bloking, Nido’s Chairman said, “I’m sure that I speak for all of my Board colleagues when I say that I have valued Mr. Whitby’s contribution enormously. He has great passion for the business and for the Company, is an outstanding leader and strategic thinker, and has an infectious “can do” attitude. He has applied his considerable commercial and leadership experience to building an effective organisation and a very impressive E&P portfolio – and has really put Nido on the map! His support, wise counsel, and good humor will be sorely missed.”

“On behalf of the Board, I’d like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Whitby for his tireless efforts and constructive approach to the challenges faced by the Company over many years, and to wish him every success in his future endeavors.”

“I would also like to welcome Mr. Byrne to the Board. In the short time since his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, he has reinvigorated the Company and put it on a new growth path, and we are very confident that he will continue to make significant contribution to the Company going forward.”
