Picture of the Day Methane Nile Eagle

The Methane Nile Eagle forms part of BG’s core fleet of liquefied natural gas tankers.

Built in 2007, the ship is powered by a steam turbine engine and has a capacity of 145,598 cubic metres.

BG’s customers are supplied from the company’s global portfolio of LNG, with multiple production sources around the world, including Egypt, Trinidad and soon in Australia and the US.
