Picture of the Day: Module Arrives at Santos GLNG Site

A large propane condenser rack module recently arrived on the Santos GLNG site from Bechtel’s module yard in the Philippines.

The module, which is 24m wide and 80m long, was transported across the site using two SPMTs (self-propelled modular transporter).

The US$18.5 billion Santos GLNG project involves the development of gas fields in the Bowen and Surat Basins, the construction of a 420 kilometre underground gas transmission pipeline to Gladstone and a two-train LNG processing facility on Curtis Island in Gladstone.
