Poland’s first LNG terminal being built in Świnoujście is expected to be ready by July this year.

The start-up of the LNG terminal, operated by Gaz-System’s unit Polskie LNG, has been delayed for more than a year with the original date which was set for the end of June last year.

In the first stage of operation, the LNG terminal will enable the regasification of 5 Bcm of natural gas annually.

Polskie LNG plans to increase the dispatch capacity up to 7.5 Bcm per annum, without the need to increase the area on which the terminal is being built.
