PIRTEK Joins Chukar Waterjet in New Business Venture (USA)

PIRTEK Plymouth joined Chukar Waterjet, Inc. in a new business venture of constructing Chukar’s new Deepwater Subsea Waterjet skid and showing it at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston.

According to the thomasnet.com, the products needed to hold up to subsea pressure at depths exceeding one mile, as well as be constructed of stainless steel to resist rusting.

Over 20 hose assemblies were manufactured, including 2″ and 3″ suction hoses and PFMU35 hose assemblies with a working pressure of 5000 psi.

Chukar Waterjet offers underwater waterjet cutting and blasting equipment capable of operating at depths in excess of 3000 meters.
