Polarcus to shoot 3D off Sakhalin

Polarcus Limited has announced that JSC Dalmorneftegeophysica (“DMNG”), which has a joint cooperation agreement with Polarcus, has entered into a contract for 3D marine seismic acquisition services for a major energy company offshore Sakhalin.

The program, requiring two Polarcus A-Class vessels, will start in Q2 2015 and is expected to run for approximately 4 months (equivalent 8 vessel months).

Polarcus is a pure play marine geophysical company with a pioneering environmental agenda, specializing in high-end towed streamer data acquisition from Pole to Pole.

Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG) provides an extensive range of worldwide geophysical services for the petroleum industry including surveys planning, data acquisition, processing, interpretation and hydrocarbon resource evaluation. The company has three modern 2D/3D vessels. DMNG also possesses the Russia’s largest processing center.
