Processkontroll to Perform Electrical and Instrumentation Installations for Lysekil LNG (Sweden)

Processkontroll AB, a company of VINCI Energies, has contributed to the construction of the first LNG Terminal in Nynäshamn (Sweden). The company has been entrusted again with the task of executing the electrical and instrumentation installations for a new LNG terminal in Lysekil (Sweden).

The oil company Preem and Skangass has signed an agreement to build a new LNG terminal at Preem’s refinery in Lysekil and chose Processkontroll AB in order to perform the electrical and instrumentation installations.

The investment is a total of 700 million SEK (800 million €) and will create nearly 100 openings during the construction period.

Cryo AB is the main contractor for the project. Construction period starts in June 2013 for Processkontroll AB. The project is expected to be completed in February 2014.

The switch to LNG will reduce Preem’s production costs by more than 200 million SEK (228 million €).  The 200,000 tons of LNG per year necessary to Preem’s refinery will be delivered by Skangass.
