PSA Norway: West Hercules Good to Go

North Atlantic Management AS has received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) for the West Hercules semi-submersible rig.

The AoC, given by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway, indicates that the West Hercules is considered to be in compliance with relevant requirements in the petroleum activities regulations. An AoC also includes the company’s safety management system.

West Hercules is a sixth generation, high specification, deep water, semi-submersible drilling unit, built in 2008. It has a high load carrying capacity and an efficient drilling floor layout with improved safety and working environment measures.
