Registration for FEMME 2015 Open

Registration has opened for the Forum for Exchange of Mutual Multibeam Experiences (FEMME 2015) conference, set to take place in Singapore on 17-19 November 2015.

The deadline for the FEMME 2015 conference paper abstracts has been extended to 1st March 2015, Kongsberg Maritime informed.

The majority of the FEMME 2015 schedule is reserved for user presentations, giving the international hydrographic community a platform to engage colleagues with technical studies and application reviews, the company announced.

Presentations that address technical or practical aspects of multibeam surveying or mapping in a broad sense, especially under challenging conditions like arctic areas, experience with multibeam surveying, as well as presentations which deal with multibeam echo sounders, external sensor technology and data processing will be taken into consideration by Kongsberg Maritime.

Kongsberg Maritime’s own product experts will also give a series of presentations covering the latest technology updates in an open forum designed to encourage knowledge sharing and feedback for the future development of the program.

FEMME is a vital component in our product development strategy as we get to meet the users all in one place, which makes for lively and informative discussion on multibeam technology and its use,” says Helge Uhlen, Sales Product Manager, Kongsberg Maritime.
