Regs4ships Receives Recognition as Digital Equivalent from Antigua and Barbuda

With only a few working days to go before offices close for the Christmas period, Regs4ships received excellent news from the Antigua & Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping.

Regs4shipsDigital Maritime Regulations service has been officially recognised as an electronic equivalent to the Antigua & Barbuda Carriage of Nautical Publications requirements. Vessels flagged to that state can now replace many of their printed documents with a single compliance CD or DVD disc.

Regs4ships Limited operates the only database of its kind, combining flag state, EU, ILO, IMO and MCA documentation into a single resource. Our service is reviewed by leading maritime experts, which removes the uncertainty of inaccurate information and saves our clients hours of time manually tracking changes to documentation and legislation.

Antigua & Barbuda is just one of fifteen flag states that we can supply Digital Maritime Regulations on behalf of. The legislation that vessels are required to carry includes all shipping related directives, circulars and information letters from the flag state, plus copies of the maritime conventions, codes and related publications.

These requirements are satisfied with a subscription to Regs4ships standard Digital Maritime Regulations package. It provides flag state legislation, codes, notices and circulars, plus MCA M notices for best practice.

David Clayden, Sales and Marketing Manager at Regs4ships Limited, said: “This is great news for Regs4ships. We are continually improving our products and services and flag state recognition is paramount. We look forward to continued expansion throughout 2012.”
