Reliance, Shell Plan LNG Terminal in India

Reliance Power and Royal Dutch Shell are in negotiations to construct a LNG terminal at Kakinada on India’s east coast, the Economic Times reported today.

The proposed LNG terminal is expected to cost about Rs 3,000 crore ($560 million).

Kakinada Port may pick up a minority stake in the proposed LNG terminal, the report said.
