Report: Simon Møkster bags two-year PSV extension with Repsol Sinopec

Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has reportedly extended the charter with Simon Møkster Shipping for a platform supply vessel (PSV).

According to information provided by VesselsValue, a website providing intel on offshore and shipping world, Repsol Sinopec has extended the Brage Supplier PSV charter for a two-year fixed term.

The fixing date of the contract was Thursday, January 18, with the deal scheduled to begin on May 20, 2018, ending on May 19, 2020.

No additional information regarding the deal was disclosed. The vessels duties, as well as the financial details, remain unknown.

The last time Offshore Energy Today reported on the vessel was in late March 2017. Namely, Repsol Sinopec Resources UK awarded two contracts to Simon Møkster’s PSVs and extended the deal for the Brage Supplier.

According to AIS data from Friday, January 19, the PSV is located next to the Clyde Alpha platform in the UK North Sea.

The platform, located approximately 175 miles south-east of Aberdeen in approximately 80 meters of water, is operated by Repsol Sinopec Resources UK.
