Russia: Rosmorport Charters Two Ferries from St. Peter Line

On June 10 2013 on board of the Princess Maria ship, FSUE “Rosmorport” and St. Peter Line Limited signed the time charters for the two ferries – the Princess Maria and the Princess Anastasia, which will be used by the enterprise as floating hotels from 5 to 24 February, 2014 in Sochi Seaport for the accommodation of spectators and temporary personnel during the Winter Olympics 2014 in Sochi.

St. Peter Line Limited is one of the three winners of the open request for proposals conducted by FSUE “Rosmorport” in 2013.

Legal support of preparation and conclusion of the agreements was performed by the “Yurinflot” judicial office, which is one of the leading Russian legal firms specializing in the commercial, sea and international private law.

During the signing of the agreements Igor Levit stressed their importance, as that was the enterprise’s contribution into the preparation for the Olympics, among other infrastructure projects being implemented by FSUE “Rosmorport” in the framework of the state programs for the construction of the Olympic facilities and the development of the town of Sochi as a mountain climatic resort.
