Russia: Second Transatlantic Motor Yacht of TM 47 Project Hits the Water

On April 23, 2013  Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair plant JSC “Moscow Shipyard” held a launching ceremony for the transatlantic motor yacht of the TM 47 Project. This is the second yacht from the TM 47 Project, deigned by Vripack Yachting International.

The ceremony was held in the presence of representatives of the Customer and the top officials of the Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair plant, as well as other guests.

Transatlantic Yacht TM 47, is the largest private yacht built in Russia, according to General Director of JSC “Moscow Shipyard” Nemchin V.V.

Over the past 12 years, Moscow Shipyard has built and handed over to its customers 19 steel motor yachts, which meet the highest European quality standards.

Yacht TM 47-2  has the ability to sail in broken ice, and thanks special air-conditioning and heating solutions guests will feel comfortable in temperatures from -20 to +45 ° C.

The four-deck vessel with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure is built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and regulatory requirements of the Code of MCA LY2.

After undergoing sea trials, the yacht will be handed over to the customer in autumn of 2013.
