SBI Offshore exec calls it quits

SBI Offshore Limited has announced the resignation of Giang Sovann as Executive Director of the Company effective from 8 October 2014.

Following his resignation, Giang Sovann has relinquished his position as a member of the Board Risk Committee.

According to the company’s release Sovann tendered his resignation due to health reason.

The company said in the release that it would “like to express its sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr Giang Sovann for his significant contribution to the Company and wish him well for his future endeavours.”

Sovann has over 30 years of financial and business management experience in MNC, regional conglomerate and listed companies. He was Executive Director of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Sovann graduated with a Bachelor of Administration degree with High Distinction from University of Regina, Canada and is Chartered Accountant Canada & Singapore, and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
