SeaBird to Commence Project Offshore Namibia

SeaBird Exploration Plc will, in partnership with GeoPartners Ltd, commence a project offshore Namibia. The 2D acquisition program is of approximately 4,700km and will be acquired using the survey vessel Osprey Explorer currently in transit to Walvis Bay.

Commencement is within the next few days, with an expected project duration of 45 days. The project is funded by existing operators and will provide them and potential new partners with new high quality datasets.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry. SeaBird specializes in high quality operations within the high end of the source vessel and 2D market, as well as in the shallow/deep water 2D/3D and 4D market. Main focus for the company is proprietary seismic surveys (contract seismic).
