Seamec Wins Persian Gulf Gig

BSE-listed Seamec has entered into a agreement with Sanat Gostar Kish Co for charter hire of the diving support vessel Seamec Princess.

The vessel will be engaged in Persian Gulf for a period of 50 days with option for extension.

According to India-based provider of diver support vessel-based diving services, the charter has been effective since September 11, 2016.

The total value of the contract has been set at $1.1 million.

The Seamec Princess is a 123.4 meters long dive support vessel, built in 1984, and modified in 2008. The vessel has been equipped with 9-man saturation diving system certified for 300 MSW and 3-man diving bell with moonpool launching arrangement. It has accommodation is for a total compliment of 117 persons.
