Shell Hires AHTSV from Jasa Merin (Malaysia)

Malaysia’s owner of offshore support vessels Jasa Merin has been awarded a contract by Sarawak Shell, for the provision of one Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (“AHTSV”).

The contract, for an initial interval of three years, has already kicked off.  Shell will have an option to extend the deal for another year.

The value of the firm part of the agreement, not including the potential one-year option, is RM 82 million (USD 25 million).
