Simek Shipyard Hands Over PSV North Pomor, Norway

Simek Shipyard has delivered North Pomor (Yard no. 129), a platform supply vessel of Skipsteknisk ST-216 Arctic design, to Gulf Offshore Norge AS.

The vessel is designed for harsh environment operations, ice classed and winterized for cold climate conditions. In addition, the vessel has a green profile and will be fitted for rescue and oil recovery capabilities.

North Pomor with an overall length of 92.60m and moulded breadth of 19.20m, has a deadweight of 5,000 tonnes at a draft of 6.95m, and comes with a cargo deck area of 1,050m². The vessel has an accommodation capacity for 40 persons.
