Singapore gets LNG cargo for third tank from Indonesia

SLNG is about to receive an LNG cargo from Indonesia for its third tank delivered onboard LNG carrier Wilpride.

“We confirm that the Singapore LNG Terminal will be receiving a cargo of LNG that is not intended for import into Singapore,” said SLNG’s spokesman Simon Ang, reports Bloomberg. It is noted that the market is weak with low prices at the moment and this price might be a lot higher once the cargo is reloaded few months down the road.

SLNG’s three tanks can handle 6 million metric tons a year and a fourth is to be added in 2017 increasing the capacity to 9 million tons.
