EMAS/AMC Extends Contract for Boa Sub C Offshore Construction Vessel

Boa Group has recently been awarded a 3 year firm contract + option for the Offshore Construction Vessel “Boa Sub C” from Singapore based EMAS/AMC. 

The contract is for subsea construction installations and is due to commence in July 2012, in direct continuation from current contract agreement.

“Boa Sub C” has been delivered to Owners from the Spanish shipyard Factorias Vulcano S.A.in 2007. The vessel dimensions counting 138.5 meters length and 30.6 meters in breadth, contribute to the impressive gross tonnage of 16.562 tonnes. The total accommodation count 135 beds with 105 single cabins.

The vessel is also outfitted with 2 state of the art WROV hangars from Oceaneering Millennium design rated to 3000 meters water depth. Both the starboard and port side WROV hangars have a guided launching system for operation in extreme conditions, typical Hs 4.5 meters.
