Solstad Offshore said on Wednesday that Fairfield had extended the charters of the Far Symphony and Normand Aurora PSVs.

Both contracts are now firm until the end of December 2020 and will begin in direct continuation of the current contracts.

The initial contracts for the two vessels were awarded by Fairfield in October 2018. The Far Symphony was contracted for 18 months firm plus options, starting mid-October 2018. The vessel has been supporting Fairfield’s UK operations since April 2017.

The Normand Aurora contract was for 12 months plus options, which started in mid-January 2019. It joined Far Symphony in supporting Fairfield’s UK operations at the start of the contract.
