Solstad said on Friday that the vessel in question was the Far Swift CSV, which was sold by Farstad Supply, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

According to the company, the delivery of the vessel to the new owner took place on Thursday, October 31.

Solstad added that the sale of the vessel would have a minor positive accounting effect for the fourth quarter of 2019.

The Far Swift was either idle or in lay-up since October 2018. The last contract for the vessel was with Brazilian giant Petrobras. The contract was awarded in December 2017 in the form of an extension of a previously awarded deal.

As for the vessel itself, it is of a UT 755 L design built by Aker Brevik in 2003.
