South Korea: DSME Receives ‘AAA Rating’ in Sustainability Management

DSME once again received the AAA rating from the top sustainability management company. The AAA rating is the highest grade awarded in the industry.

According to the ‘2012 company sustainability performance report’ published by Eco-frontier, an intangible value assessment company, DSME received the AAA rating. Eco-frontier assessed 459 listed companies in Korea and divided them into seven grade levels ranging from AAA to CCC. 47 companies were awarded the AAA rating and DSME was the only recipient from the ship building industry.

DSME has now been awarded the AAA rating for two successive years which indicates that DSME’s sustainability management has become stabilized.
