South Korea: HHI, DSME and SHI Consider Joint Bid for GTT

South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries​, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Samsung Heavy Industries are exploring a joint bid for Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) valued at $1.27 billion, Reuters reported, citing anonymous sources.

GTT  is a French engineering company specialized in cryogenic engineering and in the design of containment systems for LNG carriers and land storage tanks.

The shareholders of GTT are GDF Suez, Total and Hellman & Friedman.
