Spain’s Huelva LNG terminal gets cargo

Spain’s Huelva LNG regasification terminal received a shipment of the chilled gas on Tuesday.

The 145,952 cbm LNG Benue, loaded with a cargo from Nigeria’s Bonny plant, is currently docked at the Enagás-owned terminal, shipping data shows.

Huelva terminal, located at the mouth of the rivers Tinto and Odiel, began its construction in 1985, and it was put into operation on 14 June 1988.

The plant, that at the beginning had a 60,000 cbm tank, now has five tanks with a storage capacity of 619,500 cbm.
