SPATCO completes Galileo Cryobox installation for Terra

SPATCO Energy Solutions, North America’s largest distributor for Galileo USA, on Monday said it has completed the installation of the Galileo Cryobox in North Dakota for Terra Energy Group.

The micro-scale natural gas liquefier has been in operation for two months liquefying natural gas that would otherwise be flared off at Terra Energy’s oil and gas fields in North Dakota.

Dustin Hancock, president of Terra Energy Group said in a statement that the facility enables the company to produce 7,800 to 8,500 gallons of LNG per day, based on the production output from the wells.

SPATCO carried out the assembly of the equipment and training of Terra Energy’s employees.

LNG produced at the site is being transported to other operations where it is used as fuel for powering drilling rigs, water heating, and other power generation needs.
