Statoil Extends Contract with Møkster for 'Stril Pioner' PSV

Norway’s Simon Møkster Shipping AS has announced that Statoil has extended the Charter for “Stril Pioner” with two yeas firm contract from July 2013, with further two by two years options.

“Stril Pioner” was one of the first gas fueled supply (PSV) vessels in North Sea operation and has been operating for Statoil since delivery, July 2003. “Stril Pioner” is a large PSV of VS-4403(LNG) design with length of 95m, breadth 20,4m, dead weight (DWT) of more than 6000t and large under-deck capacities.

Møkster presently has four vessels on long term contracts with Statoil and will have one additional PSV new-build delivered for Statoil’s Barents Sea operation from July 2014.
