Technip Awards Moho Nord Diving Gig to TPSMI (Congo)

TPSMI Congo has secured an offshore diving contract for Moho 1bis main umbilical at Alima FPU by Technip Uk (Congo branch).

Technip secured the Moho Nord EPSCI project back in April 2013.

The project, operated by Total E&P Congo, is located approximately 75 kilometers off the coast of the Republic of the Congo, at water depths ranging from 650 to 1,100 meters.

As the company informs through its social media, the contract, which started in May 2015, is for call out diving support services and allows for the provision of TPSMI’s other capabilities.

TPSMI Chief Executive Officer, Stéphane Troté, said: “The award of this contract demonstrates the strength of our diving division and the continued implementation of our strategy for extending our core capabilities. TPSMI Group is well positioned to service clients in Congo and beyond from our various Gabon and Cameroun bases.”

In addition, prior to Technip contract award, TPSMI successfully passed TOTAL EP Diving Safety Management Systems audit to reach approved supplier status.

The audit took place towards the end of 2014 and was conducted at the TPSMI’ Africa head office in Congo, where a full review of the processes, facilities and staff competencies was carried out.
