Texo Group opens new facility at Port of Blyth

Integrated asset services specialist Texo unveiled its new purpose-built facility at the Port of Blyth’s South Harbour terminal on Wednesday, July 17.

Texo said that the $875,000 facility, which includes a brand new 1,200sqm fabrication building with 40t lifting capacity, had direct dockside loading facilities with a dedicated load-out area, helping reduce road transport requirements for clients.

The Group specializes in the delivery of significant EPC projects, vessel mobilizations & demobilizations and brownfield modifications as well as bespoke mechanical equipment manufacturing

The company will provide an integrated solution for clients operating in renewables, oil & gas, and marine sectors. All of its business units will have a presence at the new facility which encompasses engineering, fabrication, drone, integrity, accommodation, compliance, and resources.

Robert Dalziel, Managing Director, Texo Group said: “Our facility at the Port of Blyth further enhances our footprint on the Eastern Seaboard of the UK, ensuring we can provide a flexible approach to the delivery of client projects.”

It is worth noting that Texo was set up ten months ago and had since then won several significant EPC contracts.

With this facility, the company joins other offshore and subsea businesses which call Port of Blyth’s South Harbour home such as DeepOcean, Royal IHC, and Osbit.

To remind, Texo made several new appointments to the leadership team earlier this year to head up its new Port of Blyth office.
