The Netherlands: Atlas Ship Delivery to Manage Two Offshore Wind Accommodation Vessels

Atlas Ship Delivery Get Right to Manage Two Offshore Wind Accommodation Vessels

In September Atlas Ship Delivery already brought the former passenger vessels from Sweden to Hardinxveld (The Netherlands) where the twins will be upgraded to luxury offshore energy accommodation vessels. Atlas Ship Delivery has now also been awarded with the management of these vessels by the owner Chevalier Floatels.

 Offshore accommodation

The vessels are currently being refurbished to fulfil the high expectations of Western European organizations which focus on the well-being of their personnel. The vessels offer accommodation to 49 passengers and 16 crewmembers, and feature DP2 and an Ampelmann heave compensated gangway. Both have a 30 days autonomous operating capacity and have facilities on board such as fitness rooms, a, restaurant and recreational areas. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with toilet and has access to internet, TV and a game console.

 Quality & Operations

Together with Holland Shipyards, Atlas Ship Delivery will take care of the quality of the vessels and their operations. It is expected that both vessels will be operating offshore in 2012.
