The Netherlands: Shell Issues New Shares

LNG player Royal Dutch Shell said that it has issued 23,636,713 A Ordinary shares in relation to the scrip dividend programme for the first quarter 2013 interim dividend.

Following this issue and the cancellation of shares previously bought back and announced, the total number of A shares in issuance is 3,821,611,712, and the total number of B shares is 2,544,890,671.

Royal Dutch Shell plc holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
