Thomson Ecology to Present Marine and Terrestrial Expertise at Renewable UK 2012

Thomson Ecology will be exhibiting at Renewable UK 2012 in Glasgow from 30th October to 1st November (stand 184).

The company is the UK’s leading ecology specialist and is currently working on four major onshore cable routes in the UK. They are also involved in marine surveys and laboratory sample analysis for offshore wind farms and other developments. With over 100 ecologists and marine biologists they offer developers expert biodiversity advice: writing ornithology, marine and ecology chapters for EIAs; carrying out Habitat Regulation Assessments; and liaising with the statutory authorities to smooth the consenting process.

At the Renewable show they will also be demonstrating their marine data management software which ensures that complex sets of ecological data can be efficiently collected, analysed, stored and interrogated – an essential requirement in case of queries at Public Inquiry or the like.
