Shell says to use own cash to fund BG deal after cancelling $14.4 billion loan 

Hague-based LNG giant Shell said Thursday it has cancelled a US$14.4 billion bridge credit facility intended to fund its takeover of BG group.

Venture Global LNG said that its subsidiary, Venture Global Calcasieu Pass has entered into a deal to sell one million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas to Shell from its export facility under development in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

Deal signed for Ghana’s Tema LNG project

Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and Quantum Power, the pan-African energy infrastructure investment platform, said on Tuesday they have signed heads of terms for the construction and operation of the LNG import facilities at Tema.
