1. MMT, Reach Subsea Establish JV Within Offshore Survey Operations

MMT Group AB (Gothenburg, Sweden) and Reach Subsea AS, an integrated Subsea Service Provider (Haugesund Norway), have signed a Letter of Intent for the purpose of establishing a new Joint Venture within Offshore Survey Operations.

2. Technip Bags Subsea Contract from Statoil for Gullfaks Field in Norway

Technip was awarded by Statoil a contract for the removal and replacement of the two oil-loading systems at the Gullfaks field. This field is located in the North Sea, offshore Norway, at a water depth of approximately 130 meters.

3. Subsea 7 Invests in New Heavy Construction Vessel

Subsea 7 S.A. announced that it has signed a contract to build a new heavy construction vessel which will be delivered in 2016.

4. Technip’s New State-of-the-Art Pipelay Vessel Deep Energy Named in Norway

Technip officially named its latest new state-of-the art pipelay vessel on Friday at Florø, Norway. During the ceremony held at Westcon’s Yard, the Deep Energy was named by the vessel’s godmother, Patricia Pilenko, wife of Thierry Pilenko, Technip’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

5. Switzerland: ABB’s CEO Hogan Resigns

ABB Chief Executive Officer Joe Hogan has decided to leave ABB for private reasons.
