Tullow Drills Duster Offshore Mozambique

 Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces that the Buzio-1 exploration well in Area 2 offshore Mozambique has not encountered hydrocarbons and, following the completion of logging operations, has been plugged and abandoned.

Eni Discovers Gas at Agulha Prospect (Mozambique)

Eni has made a new high impact discovery at Agulha exploration prospect, in Area 4, offshore Mozambique. Preliminary estimates show that the Agulha structure could contain 5 to 7 Trillion cubic feet of gas in place.

Ensco Takes Delivery of New Jack-Up Rig

 Ensco plc has taken delivery of ENSCO 120, the first in its series of three ultra-premium harsh environment jack-up rigs. The rig is contracted to work for Nexen in the North Sea beginning in the fourth quarter at a day rate of approximately $230,000 plus cost adjustments.

VARD to Design and Construct New PSV for Carlotta Offshore

Vard Holdings Limited (“VARD”), one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, announced that it has secured a new contract for the design and construction of one Platform Supply Vessel for Carlotta Offshore Ltd., a newly established player in the offshore support vessel market.

Vroon Orders Two More PSVs at COSCO (China)

With the order of two additional platform-supply vessels (PSV) at COSCO Guangdong Shipyard now confirmed, Vroon currently has ten PSVs under construction in China.
