Total UK Awards Systems Support Services Contract to PSS

Aberdeen based safety systems specialist, Process Safety Systems Ltd (PSS) has been awarded a five-year multi million pound contract with oil giant, Total E&P UK Ltd.

The contract is expected to create up to 7 new career opportunities with PSS and will see the company provide systems support services across the North Alwyn, Dunbar and St Fergus sites. Although PSS have worked previously with Total E&P UK, the agreement marks the first long term contract with the company. Irene Arcari, Support Manager at PSS will lead the team and expects the new contract to maintain the unprecedented level of growth the company has achieved.

I am delighted Total E&P UK has chosen PSS to build on its long-standing commitment to safety and believe this new contract is a good indicator of what’s to come in the year ahead.”

PSS offers a range of oil and gas industry systems support and specialised training services to clients in the UK and across the globe.

Under this contact, PSS will maintain the Safety Systems on multiple sites, with engineers based on North Alwyn maintaining the DeltaV and Trusted TMR, Control and Safety Systems.

PSS has also been working closely with Total to develop a replacement to CEDA their Cause and Effect (C&E) management tool, the new tool CERES is developed on the latest software platforms enabling the efficient management of any sites cause and effects.
