In a brief statement through its social media channels, Pakistan LNG said that five traders, Trafigura, Gunvor, BB Energy, Vitol Group, DXT Commodities and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) have placed bids for the tender.

The tender closed on Monday, March 11, with Pakistan LNG saying the technical evaluation results are to follow soon.

Under the original tender document launched in February, deliveries are split into six slots, four of which will be in May and two in June.

Cargoes are to be supplied on a delivered ex-ship basis to BW’s FSRU BW Integrity with a storage capacity in excess of 170,000 cubic meters and a peak regasification capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day.

Cargo volumes are requested to be at 140,000 cubic meters of chilled fuel, the tender document shows.
