Two companies join forces to form new UAE-based oil & gas contractor

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), the UAE-based company catering to the marine and oil & gas industry, together with the Rosetti Marino Group, an Italian EPC contractor, have recently joined forces to form a new UAE-based company under the name of Rosetti-Ali & Sons.

With both companies aiming to increase acquisition and execution of potential onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects as well as enhancing their market reach and capabilities, the newly formed Rosetti-Ali & Sons is considered the platform established to realize this collective vision, while simultaneously injecting economic value into the UAE, the two companies said in a statement on Monday.

The recently finalized agreement was signed by Shamis Al Dhaheri, Group Managing Director of Ali & Sons Holding, and Stefano Silvestroni Chairman of the Board of the Rosetti Marino.

Speaking about this cooperative alliance, Shamis Al Dhaheri, Group Managing Director of Ali & Sons emphasized, “With ASMEF’s extensive capabilities and infrastructure, Rosetti Marino’s more than a century’s worth of experience and globally recognized reliable reputation, – the establishment of Rosetti-Ali & Sons is seen as the right step at the right moment towards forming a major player in the UAE market.
