UK: Design Unlimited Announces Two New Appointments to Its Team

Design Unlimited, the leading interior designer for production and super yachts, is pleased to announce two new appointments to its team based in the town of Fareham, on the south coast of the UK. Gary Rossall takes on the new role of Design Manager, in which capacity he will be responsible for the day‐to‐day management of the design team and the deployment of resources to ensure optimum efficiency.

He will also be the primary point of contact with external project teams, acting as the co‐ordinator when working alongside the design and production functions of client yards. The appointment of a design manager will enable the directors of the studio to spend more time with clients and provide the personalised service that has always been a hallmark of Design Unlimited.

With 18 years’ experience in the design and development of production, semi‐custom and custom yachts Gary will be a major asset for Design Unlimited,” said founder Mark Tucker. “We are increasingly working with major yards on complex custom and production projects, and Gary’s combination of design expertise and organisational skills will be invaluable in managing the ever larger information flows.”

Gary’s most recent role was head of design, research and development at the Hanse Group, prior to which he worked with a number of well known UK yards and naval architects. Design Unlimited has also welcomed Blair Morten who brings ten years’ experience as a design draughtsman to the team. Blair was formerly with Yachting Developments and Salthouse Marine in New Zealand and his design experience encompasses production and super yachts as well as custom tenders.
