UK: MORL to Hold Public Exhibitions Regarding Offshore Wind Project

After Moray Offshore Renewables Ltd (MORL) announced that it had submitted an application to the Scottish Government for consent to develop offshore wind power at three sites within Zone 1 of The Crown Estate’s Third Round of offshore wind licensing, it now invites all of those individuals and organisations with an interest in the project to examine the proposals, and the Environmental Statement.

A series of public exhibitions will be held in towns and villages of the Moray Firth through the autumn, and project staff will be available to provide literature and to discuss the project.

In the meantime, Marine Scotland will consider the application and consult with various statutory stakeholders on these
proposals on behalf of the Scottish Government. Scottish Ministers will ultimately make a decision on consent for the
project.
