UK to Get LNG Cargo from Qatar

The South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal in the UK is expected to receive a cargo of LNG on October 6, according to shipping data.

The Al Gharrafa LNG tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cbm, departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan Port on Wednesday.

UK’s South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 Bcm of gas a year into the country’s national transmission system.
